Text Box: WWR Co-op Roadwork Charter
- Prioritizing & Performing Roadwork -
All WWR Co-op roadwork is paid for from the yearly Co-op budget. A majority of the budget funds available for roadwork come from Co-op owner contributions & donations. Co-op roadwork can only be performed if funds are available.
All roadwork will be prioritized based on the following hierarchy, & if funds are available:
Roadwork to ‘main arteries’ of the Co-op area of the ranch will be funded first. For the 2011/2012 identified ‘main arteries’, see
In conjunction with the ‘main arteries’, priority goes towards the areas having the largest contribution density, sorted in descending order. If road can be traveled in 2-wheel drive, regardless of contribution density, the road will be bypassed for the next road in queue. This is an attempt to get more roads in passable shape.
If funds remain, any ‘Special Projects’ will be considered.
If no one, or very few should contribute to the Co-op budget & no funds are available for roadwork, the Co-op Board can provide a lot owner with the contact information for other owners in their section.
The lot owner can then contact other owners of that section to generate interest & funds for needed roadwork.
The Co-op Board can then help owners facilitate their needed roadwork.
With the Roadwork Charter & professional contractor in mind, the Co-op Board can do very little without more owner contributions. We need more Co-op lot owners to contribute, to replenish the yearly roadwork budget. Without budget funds, needed roadwork will no get done, & the Co-op roads will continue to deteriorate.
